About the Frost Radar™
Frost & Sullivan – the global growth consulting and market research firm – recently published its Frost Radar™ “Global Carrier Managed Network Services, 2025” study. In their analysis, out of nearly 30 global carrier MNS (Managed Networks Services) providers in the space, Frost & Sullivan independently plotted the top 13, selected primarily based on their comprehensive MNS offerings and the ability to serve local and global businesses. Carriers compete based on the network infrastructure facilities they own and operate, global reach and presence, comprehensive MNS portfolio (e.g., wireless, SDN, and security), advanced technologies and innovation, and strategic partnerships.

Highlights from the analysis
Here are some highlights as pointed out by Frost & Sullivan in their Frost Radar™:
- Deutsche Telekom has one of the most comprehensive network services portfolios in the industry, encompassing connectivity, SDN, unified communications, security, cloud services, and private wireless networks, supported by managed and professional services.
- The carrier has has aggressively embarked on a partnership strategy, choosing to leverage the technology innovations of industry leaders such as Aruba/HPE, Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, LANCOM, Palo Alto, and Zscaler for SD-WAN and SASE; Cisco Webex, MS Teams, and Zoom for UCaaS; and Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud for cloud services.
- Most carriers use AI to augment their network operations, but Deutsche Telekom (through T-Systems) is one of the few network service providers that offer AI solutions to enterprise customers, making it easier for enterprises to integrate AI into their business processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience while driving growth. The solutions include AI Solution Factory, AI Foundation Service, and UiPath AI-as-a-Service.
- Deutsche Telekom supports data sovereignty by offering cloud-native services with external key management, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)-compliant AI models, and certified data centers in Germany. Its Teuken-7B AI (for European customers) and One Data Ecosystem (based on Google Cloud) prioritize
local control, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
- The breadth of Deutsche Telekom’s presence is evident from its vast coverage and offering of network services, including LEO connectivity services in 54 countries in Europe, the United States, and Asia; management of 60,000 SD-WAN sites; 2,700 MPLS access points worldwide, and more than 5 million customers across services.

"Deutsche Telekom’s combination of global network footprint, advancement in quantum-safe networks, and enterprise-ready AI services uniquely positions it as a future-proof managed network partner for digital-first enterprises. By pairing strong financial performance with leading offerings in data sovereignty, AI, and quantum technologies, Deutsche Telekom is redefining the role of Managed Network Services providers as strategic technology enablers."
